Welcome And Come On In

Welcome And Come On In

Hello and welcome to The House Of Rumpley! Come on in and feel free to browse through the pages of decorating ideas that I have created for you to use to decorate your own home. ¬†Well, this is the maiden post so you won’t find much just yet but rest assured that as the days and weeks pass, I will be giving you some options to use to make your living space an inviting place that becomes more than just the place you parked your sofa and bed. Together we will make it be something special that you will be proud to call home and to have guests visit. You do not have to spend extra money to hire someone to come in and decorate it for you, you can do it yourself.

Together we will discover ways to decorate individual rooms like your kitchen, bedrooms and baths along with other rooms of the house or apartment you want to work on. We will discuss color options and themed decors such as rustic choices for a cabin or lodge look. Coastal living and nautical designs will also be featured along with eclectic, vintage, country and Tuscan styles. If there is a theme to it, I’ll find it and report on it here on these pages. If there is a specific color or theme that you would like to request, please feel free to contact me and I’ll see what I can dig up for you.

I will pay close attention to the newest hot trends in colors for walls, furniture and accessories to report on along with some of the traditional standards that can be used. I will give you tips on how to do your decorating on a budget, too.

As the seasons come around throughout the year, I’ll also discuss ways to do some seasonal touches that will make your home festive for a holiday or just the time of year. We are going to have some fun together, I promise.

You might be wondering just where The House of Rumpley is located. Imagine a quaint little cottage nestled on an imaginary street located in Anytown, USA. We are just around the corner and down the street from wherever you need for us to be. Our doors are always open, you will be greeted with a warm smile anytime you want to drop in and we hope that you will come often, ask any questions you have and tell your friends about us.

  1. Hi Bev. Very glad to have found the House of Rumpley. I get great phases of using grey, especially with pink or lemon. Seems to suit the winter for me.
